Key features include a self-adhesive zipper flap and chin flap, ensuring a tight seal between the suit and face mask. The coverall is designed with elasticated face, wrists, ankles, and a glued-in waist elastic, offering a secure and comfortable fit. Thumb loops are also included to prevent the sleeves from riding up, ensuring consistent protection during movement.

The Tyvek® 800 J is crafted using DuPont’s specific 'impervious technology,' delivering an effective barrier against many low-concentrated water-based inorganic chemicals, even under pressure, as well as small-sized hazardous particulates and oil. The fabric is antistatically treated to reduce the risk of static discharge in sensitive environments. Importantly, the material is silicon-free, making it compatible with a wide range of industrial processes.

This coverall is particularly suited for very humid applications requiring chemical and liquid protection or oil repellency. Typical uses include industrial cleaning, work in petrochemical installations, sewer maintenance, and various other maintenance operations.

Certified according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425, the Tyvek® 800 J meets the standards for chemical protective clothing, Category III, Type 3-B, 4-B, 5-B, and 6-B. It is also compliant with EN 14126 for barriers to infective agents and EN 1073-2 for protection against radioactive contamination. The coverall features stitched and over-taped seams for enhanced protection and strength, and the Tyvek® zipper and zipper flap offer additional protection. For applications requiring Type 3 liquid tightness, additional taping of cuffs, ankles, hood, and zipper flap is recommended.
